Viking Travel Coins - What a journey this has been!
over 3 years ago – Wed, Oct 14, 2020 at 11:07:11 PM

It looks like most backers have received their coins. While there may still be some international backers waiting for delivery of their Viking Travel Coins, most everyone in the USA should have received their orders by now!

The photos showing up on Instagram are amazing!  I picked a few to share...

And I just received an email from backer Olivia, who took this photo while hiking in the Shenandoah National Park just this morning...

Many of you have been asking if you can buy more Viking Travel Coins to give as gifts to friends and family. I just shipped 16 boxes of coins (Viking Travel Coins, Carpe Diem Coins and Carpe Noctem Coins) to my shipping warehouse in San Francisco, so all coins including all variations of the Viking Travel Coins should be available on my website www.carpediemedc.com at some point next week.

Thanks,

Jim

Viking Travel Coins - Shipping is done!
over 3 years ago – Tue, Oct 06, 2020 at 10:38:44 PM

SHIPPING IS COMPLETE!!!!!!

Hello everyone -  I hope you are all having a fantastic Monday!

My Monday is going really well, as I dropped off the last batch of orders at the post office this morning!

Over 2,100 packages with Viking Travel Coins headed all around the world makes me very happy, and should make you happy too!  Just look at the comments that backers have been leaving about how happy they are with the quality of the coins they've received!  And I love hearing from people saying that this was the best Kickstarter they every backed!!  It is a ton of work, but it is so rewarding to hear the positive feedback and see the pictures of my coins showing up all over Instagram.

If you still have not received any tracking information, please contact me.  Everyone should have received tracking info on their shipment by now.

What is next?...

First, I will be shipping off all of the extra coins I have to my fulfillment partner in South San Francisco as soon as I can, so that they will be available for purchase on my website.  Many of you have been asking if you can purchase additional Viking Travel Coins, so I want to get them up on my site as fast as I can.

Second, I just received some really cool hoodies and hats with my Tempus Fugit / Memento Mori design, which I will also be photographing and getting up on the website as soon as I can.  I am also waiting on an order of my black Tempus Fugit Deneen Coffee Mugs, and hope to have those back in stock later in October or early November.

Third, I've been working on a Viking themed bottle opener (prototype pictured in the photo above).  Through a collaboration with Danish designer Jesper Voxnaes, and Siberian artist Sergey Arzamastsev.  I've been carrying the prototype around for the past week, and it is really a tactile pleasure to hold, roll around in your fingers and fidget with.  And it does fit on my middle finger, for those rare occasions I walk through a dark alley.  Once I get it just right, and figure out the best way to have them produced, I will get a batch up on my website and let you all know.

Finally, I am starting to think about the next coin project...

Best regards, and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!!!

Jim
